Carrie Underwood has worn many hats over the years, from singer to reality show judge, and even has her own farm. Recently, the American Idol alum shared some news of an injury on her farm with fans on social media. This isn’t the first time Underwood has shared such stories with fans, even in recent months.
Carrie Underwood Shared A Shocking Sight That Took Place At Her Farm
Underwood first came to prominence by appearing on, and ultimately winning, American Idol‘s fourth season. Following her win, Underwood soon developed a prominent career as a musician. She would eventually return to American Idol with Season 23, as one of the series’ judges.
In addition to her career in music, Underwood has had other ventures over the years, including her own farm. Recently, however, the star revealed some bad news as the farm was the site of a recent injury.

In a recent live post on social media, Underwood shared a surprising story about her farm with fans. As she wrote, “I’ve got an injured girl in the mini coop.”
“Today, they were all on top of it. Weird.” The star included a photo of her chickens standing on top of the coop.
The American Idol Shared Previous Stories About Her Flock On Social Media
Back in May 2024, Underwood shared a video of her chickens on Instagram. As she shared in a caption, “Chickens are the best!” In a short clip, Underwood’s chickens could be seen running through some grass to eat treats provided by the country star.
At the time, fans shared their love for Carrie’s feathered friends. As one fan wrote, “I know for sure that you are a genuine country woman and I love it and your beautiful place.” Some even shared that they also raised chickens. One fan even shared, “Ours love strawberries and grapes.”

This isn’t the first time Underwood has shared news about her flock in recent months. As Taste of Country reported, the star shared that one of her chickens got sick back in March. This came out on March 9, around the same night that American Idol saw its season premiere.
Underwood shared that her chicken was “egg-bound,” meaning it was having issues laying an egg, causing a swollen abdomen. In order to help the hen, Underwood took care of the bird in her home, even giving her massages and baths to help her. Within a few days, however, the star assured that her chicken was feeling better and had returned to the coop.
Underwood also has more than chickens under her care. As previously reported, the star also recently shared a newborn lamb on her farm. With her recent job as an American Idol judge, she named the newborn Jamal in honor of Season 23 winner Jamal Roberts.
