Israel v Iran LIVE: At least 10 dead & 200 injured in Iranian strikes on Israel

AT least 10 people have been killed and over 200 injured after Iran launched hundreds of ballistic missiles on Israel in a second night of devastating attacks.

Tehran was left "burning" as Tel Aviv launched massive air strikes targeting Iran's Ministry of Defence and oil production facilities.

Iran reportedly launched over 100 missiles across two waves targeting Israel's port city of Haifa alongside Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Rehovot.

At least 10 people, including a 10-year-old boy, were killed in the overnight blitz.

Residential buildings were turned to rubble as ballistic missiles tore up the night sky in Israel.

The Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) quickly responded by carrying out air strikes in Tehran while they worked to intercept the Iranian missiles.

IDF fighter jets attacked four targets in Tehran, including Iran's Ministry of Defence and nuclear facilities.

Massive fires were also seen raging in Tehran's oil depots after Tel Aviv conducted rounds of airstrikes.

Footage online shows the Shahran oil depot up in flames after a pinpoint strike.

Israeli Minister of Defence Israel Katz said: "Tehran is burning."

The Iranians said 78 people were killed there on the first day of Israel's campaign, and scores more on the second, including children.

Later on in the evening, Iran fired another 50 missiles and drones into central Israel.

It comes as Donald Trump warned Tehran would experience "the full strength" of the US military if it attacks the US bases in the Middle East.

Iran vowed to strike US, UK and French military bases in the region if they step in to try and defend Israel.

Tehran warned it would target military bases and ships located in the region if the countries provided any support to Israel.

But Trump warned Tehran would face the full might of the US military if it attacks US bases across the Middle East.

He said: "If we are attacked in any way, shape or form by Iran, the full strength and might of the US Armed Forces will come down on you at levels never seen before."

Israel's allies across the world have in the past helped Tel Aviv shoot down missiles fired from Iran during previous clashes between the two enemy powers.

Iran and Israel sit on the brink of a full-scale war after Tel Aviv accused Tehran of trying to develop a nuclear bomb, launching a massive wave of pre-emptive strikes on Friday.

The IDF killed top military leaders, nuclear scientists and blasted secretive sites believed to be being used by Iran to develop nuclear weapons.

Tehran in retaliation fired at least 200 ballistic missiles on Friday night, targeting large swathes of civilian areas

Defence Minister Katz said Iran "crossed red lines after it dared to attack the civilian population" and will now "pay a heavy price for it".

Both sides have warned more is yet to come, with Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, vowing to inflict "heavy blows".

'Nothing left': Israelis grapple with damage from Iran strike
A shocked Julia Zilbergoltz said she had "never been in a situation like this" after an Iranian missile scored a direct hit on her home in central Israel early Sunday.

"I'm stressed and in shock. I've been through hard times in my life, but I've never been in a situation like this," Zilbergoltz told AFP, as she gathered her belongings and left her apartment building in Bat Yam, near the coastal city of Tel Aviv.

"I was at home, I was sleeping and I didn't hear the siren" warning of an incoming missile attack, she said.

She was awoken instead by the loud booms that followed.

According to Israeli officials, six people, including two childre,n were killed in the strike that destroyed Zilbergoltz's home.

Yivgenya Dudka, whose home was also hit by the missile on Bat Yam, said: "Everything was destroyed. There's nothing left. No house. That's it."

In Israel's north, four people were killed earlier when a strike hit the town of Tamra.

Israeli television channels broadcast footage of devastation from four sites where missiles struck in the early hours of Sunday.

Tel Aviv and the nearby city of Rishon Lezion were also hit by missiles from Iran, after Israeli fighter jets carried out strikes on military and nuclear targets in the Islamic Republic.

According to data shared by the prime minister's office, missiles hit some 22 locations across Israel.

"I feel very bad. I'm very worried and stressed. I'm in agony for all the dead we have and all the injured people," said Riky Cohen, a writer from Tel Aviv.

"I'm aware that Iran is very dangerous to Israel and the government wishes to destroy Israel," she told AFP, saying she supported Israel's military actions.

But Cohen said she was also "very worried" that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government might "continue the war even though it's not necessary".

In Bat Yam, Mayor Tzvika Brot said in a Facebook post that the missile had caused "great destruction and damage to dozens of buildings".

In addition to the deaths, Brot said that more than 100 people were injured and others remained trapped under the rubble.

"Teams from the Home Front Command have been working here for several hours now, and will remain here until they find them," he said.

Shahar Ben Zion, who was trying to clean up the damage to his home in Bat Yam, said it was "a miracle we survived".

"I didn't want to go down (to the shelter). My mother convinced me... there was an explosion and I thought the whole house had collapsed," he said.

"Thank God, it was a miracle we survived."
