The second major of the 2025 season, the PGA Championship, is set to tee off on Thursday, May 15, at Quail Hollow in Charlotte, N.C.

Rory McIlroy, just one month removed from his maiden Masters win, and Scottie Scheffler, just two weeks removed from his first victory of the season, are the +450 co-favorites, with Bryson DeChambeau right behind them at +700.

Bookmakers pull out all the stops for major championships, offering punters a whole menu of betting options, including all sorts of prop bets for just about every player in the field.

Aaron Rai top-10 finish (10/1, bet365)

The consensus seems to be that the best path to success at Quail Hollow is by overpowering it off the tee, but I’m going to trust Aaron Rai for a different skillset with the driver.

One of the most accurate players off the tee, the Englishman should keep himself out of trouble, which is notable when you’ll have most of the field looking to lean more into power over accuracy.

Quail Hollow is not an easy course to manage, but Rai has proven himself quite adept at playing well on difficult tracks, earning top-15 finishes at THE PLAYERS and Arnold Palmer Invitational.

Rai likely doesn’t have the oomph to his game to win, but he’s steady enough that he should be able to hang around the leaderboard all weekend.

Min Woo Lee Top-40 finish (+100, bet365)

Great with the driver and on the greens, Min Woo Lee is trending towards some big things in his career.

The Australian only has one top-10 finish at a major (he finished T5 at the 2023 U.S. Open), but he’s been a solid performer in 14 appearances at golf’s grand slam events.

Lee has made the cut in 10 of his 14 appearances at majors, and he finished outside the top 30 in just two of those.

This is priced as a coin flip, but I think Lee is more likely than not to rack up a finish inside the top 40.

Sungjae Im Top-5 finish (14/1, bet365)

Sungjae Im has been a boom or bust player at majors thus far in his career. He’s played 22 of them in his career and has missed 11 cuts. But when he plays on the weekend, he has a habit of hanging around the top of the leaderboard.

Im has eight top-25 finishes, four top-10 finishes, and two top-5 finishes in his major career, and has finished T7 and T5 in the last two grand slam events.
