Microsoft is working on bringing more Xbox titles to PlayStation

Earlier this year, Microsoft announced plans to bring four previously exclusive games to rival consoles for the first time. So far, this has led to Hi-Fi Rush, Sea of Thieves, Pentiment and Grounded all going to PlayStation or Switch (or both in some cases). Now, it appears Microsoft is planning another wave of games for PlayStation.
According to Jez Corden of Windows Central, the Xbox team has a new initiative underway, codenamed “Latitude”, which is being used to develop several more Xbox titles for PS5. There is no mention of Nintendo here, so it could be that Microsoft is waiting to see what Nintendo's next-gen hardware will deliver in 2025, before investing more in bringing games over.

Corden unfortunately does not name any particular games making the jump but he claims they are “potentially obvious games you'd most likely expect”. Given the first wave of titles released focused on smaller games, I'm not sure if we should be expecting the likes of Halo or Forza to make the jump just yet.
With that said, the report does also go on to say that Microsoft's CEO and CFO have mandated a “no red line” approach as part of the company's efforts to increase profit margins across all business units, including Xbox. This could mean that major exclusives like Halo are indeed now on the table.
Personally, I would like to see Starfield on PS5, as I don't think the game got a fair enough shake at launch – in fact, I seem to be one of the few reviewers that genuinely thought the game lived up to the hype. Perhaps access to a wider user base will lead to more fans discovering the game. Honestly, I could say the same thing about Halo Infinite too. Many hardcore Halo fans disliked the campaign but I thought it was the breath of fresh air that the series needed.
