Thoughtless man complains to friend that nobody came to cookout he invited 'all his friends' to, ignores the fact he didn't invite her: 'The invitees knew something that you learned'
As with all relationships, friendships take a dedicated effort to get right. Unfortunately, this is not something that everybody appreciates, and being disappointed by somebody we hoped we were good buddies with is something that most of us have experienced at some point. One of the ways in which this can happen is through exclusion—and it's even worse when they say it to your face. This was the unfortunate experience of one Twitter user recently when somebody she thought was a friend complained to her about a cookout he had held. Claiming that he had invited all of us his friends but none of them had turned up, he either forgot or wasn't bothered by the fact that he hadn't invited her. It's no shock that people on the internet had their sympathies with how this thoughtless act must have felt. Some people don't like to think before they speak.
