Kingston details new Fury Renegade RGB Limited Edition DDR5-8000 memory
Kingston has just introduced the Fury Renegade RGB Limited Edition DDR5 desktop memory, a kit that the company claims is a true performance standout inspired by racing car design and aesthetics. This special edition memory features a striking red colour scheme and an aerodynamic look, so if you're after a unique aesthetic, this is certainly worth a look….
Kingston has announced this eye-catching memory in a dual-kit configuration with 24 GB modules operating at 8000 MT/s speed with 36-48-48 latency and 1.45V voltage. This memory is only XMP 3.0 certified, so if you have an AMD system, you're likely out of luck. In addition to the DDR-8000 profile, users will have access to two alternative XMP profiles with tighter timings: DDR5-7200 with CL38-44-44 timings running at 1.45V and DDR5-6400 with CL32-39-39 running at 1.4V.
The RGB light strip on top of the heatsink uses the company's Infrared Sync technology to synchronise the RGB lighting on their modules. Additionally, Fury CTRL offers 18 preset lighting effects.
Pricing and availability details of the Fury Renegade RGB Limited Edition DDR5-8000 memory kit have yet to be publicised, but given its feature set and since it's part of a limited edition series, it's unlikely to come cheap.
