The widely successful romance time-slip K-drama Lovely Runner is concluding soon. The series will release episode 16, which is the finale episode, on TVN on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at 8:50 p.m. KST. It will also be available on Viki on the same day. The previous episode ended on a thrilling and satisfactory note as Kim Tae-Sung (Song Geon-Hee) saved Ryu Sun-Jae (Byeon Woo-Seok) from getting hit by Kim Young-Soo.
The episode also saw Sun-Jae remembering everything about his and Im Sol’s (Kim Hye-Yoon) relationship in all the different timelines. The new preview trailer for Lovely Runner episode 16 (finale) begins on an emotional note with Ryu Sun-Jae (Byeon Woo-Seok) running to Im Sol (Kim Hye-Yoon) and embracing her. He now remembers all about their undeniable love for each other. He asks Sol for forgiveness, as he is late to come to her. After that, in an intense moment, the trailer sees Kim Tae-Sung (Song Geon-Hee) chasing the criminal, Kim Young-Soo, to catch him for good this time. In the previous episode, viewers saw Tae-Sung getting injured due to the crash.
Then, the preview trailer for Lovely Runner episode 16 (finale) displays that Im Sol and Ryu Sun-Jae have started to date again in the present timeline. Sun-Jae’s friend, Baek In-Hyuk, advises him to keep their relationship a secret. However, it seems Sun-Jae is too ecstatic to care about what anyone else thinks. He and Sol are deeply in love with each other.
The trailer then goes on to showcase several heart-fluttering moments between the couple as they start to spend a lot of time together. Sol even tells Sun-Jae they may look like a newlywed couple, which flutters his heart. The preview further hints at an alluring proposal scene that will take place in the finale. Thus, it will be intriguing to witness how the popular K-drama ends.
