Yu-Gi-Oh! Hosts “Duelist Live Kingdom” Event Celebrating 25 Years of the TV Anime Series

The Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise is celebrating 25 years of the long-running TV anime series with a new live stage event titled “Yu-Gi-Oh! Animation Series 25th Duelist Live Kingdom.” The event will take place in Tokyo, Japan on July 12, 2025 at the Tachikawa Stage Garden venue.
A new main visual for the event was also released, featuring Yami Yugi and Seito Kaiba taking the live stage.

Several musical guests, who performed various opening and ending theme songs from the original 2000 Yu-Gi-Oh! TV anime series, have been announced to be making an appearance at the event. The featured artists include KIMERU, Masami Okui, Masaaki Endoh, vistlip, Hideaki Takatori, SAEKI youthK, and Ayaka Nanase.
The voice cast members that are scheduled to join the event have not yet been revealed, as of the time of this writing.
The first Yu-Gi-Oh! anime series aired in Japan from April 2000 to September 2004. It is based on the late Kazuki Takahashi’s original manga series of the same name that ran in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from September 17, 1996 to March 8, 2004. A total of 28 tankobon volumes were released. VIZ Media releases the manga in English for North America.
The series has inspired three anime films, several spinoffs, video games, and an active trading card game.
Crunchyroll is currently streaming the first Yu-Gi-Oh! TV anime, as well as several of its spinoffs, including Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, which recently commemorated its own 20th anniversary.
