Sunny Hostin Missing From Popular Talk Show, Why?
While it’s not uncommon for The View ladies to be absent from filming sometimes, it’s always something viewers notice whenever someone does go MIA. In recent scenes, Sunny Hostin has been absent from her usual chair, leading many watchers to question what is going on with her. The good news, however, is that she is away for a good reason, and not anything dire.
Addressing Sunny Hostin’s absence in recent The View scenes, Whoopi Goldberg said, “So, we have to tell you that Sunny is out this week because she’s attending our son’s college graduation. He’s graduating from Harvard!”
The other good news is, Sunny won’t be gone for too much longer. A show insider recently confirmed that Hostin will be back in her seat on June 2 to resume business as usual. So, fans of hers won’t have to wait very long to see her return.
Hostin’s son, Gabriel, graduated from Harvard on May 29. Not surprisingly, the proud mother wanted to be there to celebrate with her son and congratulate him in person after this major milestone in his life. As much as viewers love seeing Sunny on the talk show, no one would fault her for wanting to share this moment with her son.
The graduation ceremony took place in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and it’s one that the entire family won’t soon forget.
