As longtime fans of HGTV know, Tarek El Moussa is one of the most recognized faces on the network. He has spent years filming content for the popular channel, and countless fans tune in to watch him work. Fans also know him for his personal life as well.
Tarek was previously married to Christina Haack, and the exes share two children. While Tarek has moved on with another woman, his previous marriage to Christina is still something that fans regularly talk about. One way or another Tarek El Moussa is used to living life under a microscope.

El Moussa Charged After Las Vegas Incident
Based on the latest tea making the rounds surrounding Tarek El Moussa, there was a major incident that took place in Las Vegas. It turns out, the HGTV celeb was allegedly involved in a physical altercation in Sin City. He was not arrested, however, authorities cited him for battery after the incident.
According to Fox News, Tarek “allegedly got into the heated encounter to defend his elderly father.” The Las Vegas Metro Police Department later confirmed, “On June 5, 2025, officers responded to a battery incident in the 3300 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard.”
At this point in time, Tarek El Moussa has not commented publicly on the incident, or anything that went down while in Las Vegas.

Heather El Moussa Opens Up More About Las Vegas Trip
While a trip to Las Vegas can certainly turn sour over a recent incident like this, Heather El Moussa recently shared an update on social media focusing more on the positive aspects of this recent trip. She shared a short clip recapping their trip and all of the adventures.
While this recent trip included some work (of Tarek El Moussa speaking in front of a large audience), there was also time for fun and getting to experience the city and everything it has to offer. As a bonus, their parents were along for the ride.
While this recent battery incident is not something anyone wants to add to their list of activities during a trip to Las Vegas, Heather El Moussa is clearly focusing on the positive.
In addition to including this short clip showing off their adventures in the party city, El Moussa also wrote in the caption, “Not our average Vegas trip… 🎰💎🖤 Watched Tarek do his thing on stage (so proud!) and made it extra special by bringing our parents along for the ride.
