Do you think Friends would have succeded if it didn't take place in New York? There are so many shows that happen in New York City, and although the city is great, I sometimes wonder how it would look if shows happened in other locations. For example, I can't think of many shows that happen in Florida, and I think it would be hilarious to see people in Miami deal with life in the city. It is such a chaotic place, I am sure writers can come up with many funny scenarios for the Friends to experience.We could also go outside of the US, and imagine Friends in cities across Europe. What would it look like if the show was set in Paris or London? How different would the characters be if they weren't even American?All we could do is guess how those shows would look like, unless someone here is actually going to come up with a foreign remake of Friends.
