Céline Dion Wows in Shimmering Pink Mini Dress

Céline Dion is officially the queen of throwbacks.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, September 17, Dion, 56, shared a throwback photo of herself performing in Madison Square Garden. In the snapshot, the "My Heart Will Go On" singer is the center of attention on stage alone in a signature power pose (feet shoulder width apart, arms by her side) with the spotlight on her. The words "New York" are flashed on the apparatus in the air above her as the audience watches in the foreground.
But the real star of the show? Her outfit. Dion's rocking an eye-catching shimmering pink strapless mini dress, metallic strappy heels and an armful of bangles on each wrist.
"On this day in 2008… before tickets were mobile," she cheekily captioned the post, adding a wink emoji and #madisonsquaregarden.
In the same post, the powerhouse singer shared a closeup of the concert ticket dated for September 16, 2008, which would put this moment right in the middle of her Taking Chances World Tour. The tour was the French Canadian singer's ninth concert tour and ran from February 2008 until February 2009. It garnered $279.2 million at the box office.
This isn’t the first time Céline’s served up nostalgic gold. Just last month, she posted some fierce shots from her Let’s Talk About Love World Tour, where she was serving major ‘90s glam. Picture her in a sleek all-black outfit, strappy sandals and a high ponytail—basically, the definition of fabulous.
The post was captioned in the same cadence as her most recent throwback post, “LET’S TALK ABOUT LOVE. On this day in 1998…the LTAL World Tour kicked off in Boston, Massachusetts in support of my 15th album.”
