Weather Now: Scattered Showers, T-Storm Today

We're looking at another day of unsettled weather. Lots of clouds, muggy and humid conditions with areas of fog, mist, and drizzle. Look for a few scattered showers and even a thunderstorm for late morning into the afternoon. It won't be raining the entire time but certainly far from ideal weather days.

TODAY
Chance for showers and thunderstorms continues otherwise cloudy skies. The air will feel very heavy with dewpoints in the 70s and temperatures near 80.
Cloudy and humid conditions will continue with the chance for an isolated shower or two throughout the afternoon hours. Afternoon highs will top out around 80.
High rip current risk for ocean facing beaches with waves around 5 feet. Be mindful when entering the water and always swim near lifeguards. Use caution all across our shores today.
LOOKING AHEAD...
Sunday is looking much drier but also warmer with highs in the upper 80s.
It'll also stay very humid over the next several days.
TRACKING THE TROPICS
Tropical Storm Beryl continues to move through the Gulf of Mexico. The storm is expected to strengthen back into a hurricane before landfall along the Texas coast.
Those along the Texas coastline should be planning for strong winds, heavy rain, and storm surge.
