Computex 2024: Gigabyte Control Center will soon support Corsair iCUE

Corsair has announced a new partnership with Gigabyte, becoming the latest motherboard manufacturer to integrate Corsair's iCUE lighting management software. This means that compatible Corsair devices will soon be able to seamlessly synchronise lighting with Gigabyte's Control Centre (GCC) and iCUE.
This should be good news if you have a Gigabyte motherboard and use Corsair iCUE-compatible products. With the Corsair iCUE software supporting lighting customisation on Gigabyte motherboards, you can customise and synchronise the effects and colours of your Corsair iCUE products along with the rest of your system through GCC. Alternatively, you can customise and synchronise your Gigabyte RGB Fusion-compatible products with the Corsair iCUE app.

This development expands the reach of Corsair's iCUE lighting management software, which already supports Asus, MSI, Philips Hue, Nanoleaf, and Govee hardware. Gigabyte also added that it's working with other manufacturers to offer alternative lighting software for controlling the RGB lighting of Gigabyte motherboards, GPUs, AIOs, and cases.
It's worth noting that support for Gigabyte hardware is made possible through an SDK implementation, requiring the installation of GCC. The updates for both apps are expected to be released this month.
KitGuru says: Do you own a Gigabyte motherboard and Corsair iCUE products? Do you prefer the GCC user experience over that of the iCUE app?The post Computex 2024: Gigabyte Control Center will soon support Corsair iCUE first appeared on KitGuru.
