Mama June star June Shannon suffered from a heartbreaking loss on December 9, 2023. Her eldest daughter, Anna Cardwell, died at 29 after battling a stage 4 adrenal carcinoma. Anna’s passing had a huge effect on the family. But despite the loss, June and some of her kids recently shared all the things they do to continue honoring and remembering Anna. Mama June: Alana Thompson Opens Up About Late Sister
Earlier this month, Alana had an interview where she opened up about her late sister, Anna. According to the Mama June star, she remembers talking to her sister every day, and she’s now doing every little thing to honor her. One of them is just being in nursing school. According to Alana, Anna wanted her to be a nurse, and she’s now trying her best to fulfill her dreams for her. Anna added that they all have pictures of Anna in their house as their way of remembering her. She continued that almost everything reminds her of Anna, adding that just staring at a green wall reminds her of her late sister.

June & Kids Share How They Honor Anna
June Shannon recently uploaded a clip from the same interview where they talk about remembering Anna. The Mama June star revealed that she had a wall filled with remembrances of Anna, including pictures of them. June added that Anna has a special place in her home to keep her memory alive. Jessica said that they consider Anna’s daughter, Kaitlyn, as her mini version. June agreed and said that all of Anna’s mannerisms and behavior are in Kaitlyn. On the other hand, Alana stated again that being a nurse is her way to honor her late sister.
June also added in her caption that they always talk about Anna, and she is very much alive in their minds. She thinks it may sound crazy to other people. But it was a hard thing for them to accept. She added, “But at the end of the day it’s been a hard thing for all of us to Accept and Katy p is a daily reminder of her the way she laughs the way she talks the way she acts and everything.”
Mama June: What To Expect From Upcoming Episodes?
WeTV has already released a synopsis for the upcoming third episode of Mama June Season 7. According to the network, the episode will feature Pumpkin dropping a bomb on Josh amid their marriage issues. Meanwhile, Alana confides in a friend about all the drama in her family. The episode will also show Justin checking on Josh, who’s going through difficult times amid his impending divorce. June Shannon will also go to court to fight for Kaitlyn’s custody. She’s also hoping to fulfill Anna’s final wish.
