How To Find the Cheapest McDonald’s Wherever You Are

Get your Big Mac for less!

Adobe/Allrecipes

Fast food lovers are always looking for a way to save on their favorite menu items. And with prices still so high (thanks to inflation that won’t quit), it makes sense. Customers can't even trust the dollar menu anymore.Even still, McDonald’s is known for offering some pretty good deals, especially when they give away free fries or nuggets. However, those promotional deals don’t last too long. Thankfully, there are other ways to find the cheapest McDonald's anytime. Here’s how to do it. Find the Cheapest Big Macs on the McCheapest MapThe expert food advice website Pantry & Larder has a way for McDonald’s fans to search for the cheapest Big Mac in the entire country. Say hello to the McCheapest map, an interactive food map highlighting the cities and states with the cheapest (and the most expensive) Big Mac around. It is a great tool that we think will come in handy for those summer road trips. It can also help us all avoid the infamous $18 burger."When we first created the map, inflation and rising food prices were dominating the news. We wanted to create something that highlighted how much food prices varied across the country," Veronica Fletcher, founder and publisher of Pantry & Larder, told our sister brand Food & Wine. "Everyone can relate to the price of a McDonald's, and there are well over 10,000 locations in the U.S., which made the Big Mac a perfect fit. We also wanted the map to be useful. By using every McDonald's location, users can zoom into their area and check where their cheapest Big Mac is." Currently, the cheapest Big Mac can be found at 1210 East Main Street in Stigler, Oklahoma, for a solid price of $3.49, while the most expensive is served over at 240 West Road in Lee, Massachusets, for a whopping $8.09. That's even more expensive than a burger in Alaska or Hawaii. The fluctuating prices are also reflected in the map to show uses if the menu item has recently gone up or down.More Ways To Get McDonald’s on the CheapThe McCheapest map may be helpful when looking for the most affordable Big Mac, but you may be craving more than just that one item on the cheap. Luckily, McDonald’s offers other great ways to save on a variety of its food, such as with the $5 Meal Deal that gives you a choice of a McDouble or McChicken, small fries, four chicken nuggets, and a soft drink. You can also save with McDonald’s 'Dinner Box' hack that can feed the entire family for a bargain. Depending on your location, you can score one of these off-the-menu boxes complete with two cheeseburgers, four small fries, 10-piece chicken nuggets, and two Big Macs for just $12 (as seen in Texas thanks to TikTok user Leiela Kapewa-Latu). Other locations, including New York, have seen boxes full of 20-piece chicken McNuggets, two Big Macs, and two medium fries for $24.99. Hint: You can actually find these meals when you use the McDonald's app and search under "Shareables” on the menu. Read the original article on All Recipes.
