SANTA CLARA, CA — Graduation is a major milestone and deserves to be celebrated! That's why Patch and T-Mobile have teamed up to recognize our community's outstanding 2024 graduates. Bachelor of ScienceWhat school is your graduating student graduating from?Santa Clara UniversityHow do you know your graduating student nominee?My daughterTell us why they deserve to be nominated!She entered Santa Clara as an underdog in the midst of the pandemic. She is the last of my three daughters and I, being a single mother responsible for all their college, had to make a decision whether I could afford a private college. I asked her to make a list of why she wanted to go and what she was going to accomplish while there. She is now graduating in June with a potential to be the valedictorian of her graduating class. She is the President of the Women in Business Club. She has accepted a position post graduation with Cisco in their financial division. She did not need the credits for her last quarter so decided to volunteer in an orphanage outside of Nairobi for the month. Which is where she is now. She will walk with her class in June. She has accomplished everything and more on that original list she created 4 years ago. I could not be more proud of her. And I cannot wait to see what she does from here.What's one thing you want everyone to know about your graduating student nominee?She does not give up. She is strong, tenacious and has grit.
