I would never want to shame dual-income families, but if both parents are working until late at night and barely see their children because they think building a wealth empire is more important, they might need to sort out their priorities. There's a big difference between rarely seeing your children out of genuine financial need and hardship and not seeing them because you want to buy a summer home in the Hamptons.
