Philips Evnia’s latest ultrawide makes the jump to QD-OLED
The newly released Philips Evnia 34M2C6500 gaming monitor is the latest QD-OLED monitor to enter the market. Featuring a 34-inch ultrawide curved display and “Ambiglow” lighting, this monitor is aimed at gamers looking for a wider screen to immerse themselves in while gaming.
The 34″ ultrawide display features a 3440×1440 resolution, 0.03ms G2G reaction time, a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and 250 nits brightness (peaks at 1000 nits). The broad colour coverage (99.3% DCi-P3, 148.8% sRGB, and 97.8% Adobe RGB) and factory calibration ensure the colours are as accurately depicted as the creators and developers intended. It's worth noting the monitor is VESA ClearMR 9000- and VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black-certified and offers multiple HDR presets.
Adaptive-sync technology supports various refresh rates, including the panel's native 175Hz. The monitor also sports “Ambiglow” lighting, which enhances the visual appeal and adds a dynamic element to your gaming environment by syncing with music and video content. The monitor also supports PiP and PbP for handling multiple inputs.
Connectivity options include 2x HDMI 2.0 connectors, a DisplayPort 1.4, a headphone jack, and 2x USB ports. The stand features tilt, height, and swivel adjustments for added versatility. The Philips Evnia 34M2C6500 monitor is now available in the UK and the US, priced at £764.97 and $799.99, respectively.
