Recently, WWE saw former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley, MVP, and former United States Champion Ricochet leave the promotion. Ricochet’s contract with WWE expired in July, making him a free agent.
Ricochet was written off WWE television by Bron Breakker in June, ahead of his contract expiration. This led many to expect that he would be headed to AEW. Reports have emerged that Ricochet has officially signed a multi-year deal with All Elite Wrestling and is scheduled for this Sunday’s AEW All In event in London.

On the other hand, Bobby Lashley and MVP have also departed from WWE. Speculation suggests that Lashley might join AEW following his departure. This also led to speculation that MVP might join him.
However, MVP made a surprise appearance at Bloodsport XI a few weeks ago, where he revealed that his WWE contract is ending and confirmed he won’t be returning. He also challenged Josh Barnett to a match. This ended the speculation about whether MVP and Lashley would reunite. Meanwhile, MVP is busy on the independent wrestling scene. Former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley recently discussed his plans following his departure from WWE on The Bo And Them Show. He shared that he wants to pursue wrestling, boxing, MMA, and acting.
He stated, “I have a lot of different things going on right now. My non-profit, working with kids. I love doing that and working with kids. I want to give back. I do a lot of real estate. I’ve been linking with some real estate professionals (in Texas) to bring some of my properties here and doing work here. Wrestling, I still want to wrestle. I love wrestling. The fans are writing me every day, ‘When are you coming back? Where are you going? We want to be there for you.’ I love the fans.”
Now that former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley has officially departed from the promotion. It will be interesting to see what he does next in his storied career.
